Rangers secured a commanding victory over Anse Royale in a one-sided match at Stad Popiler. The final score was 7-1 in favor of Rangers, who dominated from start to finish.
Early on, Ruddy Alcindor put Rangers ahead with a well-taken goal in the 21st minute. Just four minutes later, Noris Emilie doubled the lead, leaving Anse Royale with a mountain to climb. Alcindor added another goal in the 36th minute, and Curtis Kiren Jupiter made it 4-0 before halftime.
Anse Royale showed resilience and pulled one back through Trevor Carlos Esparon in the second half. However, Alcindor completed his hat-trick in the 59th minute, restoring Rangers’ dominance. Luigi Frederick and Ajwad Jeromy Borniea added two more goals to seal the emphatic win.
Anse Royale FC find themselves in a challenging position, as they remain without a point this season. Alongside Mont Buxton United, they are one of the only teams yet to register a win in the league. Having competed in the Seychelles Premier League last season, Anse Royale’s struggles in the 3rd Division this year highlight the difficulties they currently face.
As the season progresses, both teams will have their respective challenges. While Rangers will look to build on this triumph and establish themselves as contenders, Anse Royale will undoubtedly face an uphill battle to climb out of the bottom ranks of the Seychelles League 1.
