The Seychelles football community has spoken, and the Intelvision Coach of the Season for 2023/24 has been crowned.
After a closely contested vote, the winner with 46% of the total votes is Gavin Jeanne, the coach of St. Louis.
Jeanne has been lauded for his incredible work over the past two seasons. This year, he led St. Louis to their first Seychelles Premier League title in several years, a triumph that surprised many fans who had low expectations for the team at the start of the season.
“Coach Gavin has done a truly amazing job!” said one voter. “To win the league with St. Louis is a remarkable achievement, and he deserves this recognition.“
Jeanne beat out other nominees including Harold Hoareau of Foresters FC and Ted Esther of Lightstars, demonstrating the high regard in which he is held by the football community.
Congratulations to Coach Gavin, St. Louis, and all their fans. Hopefully, Jeanne can continue this success and pull off another upset, this time in the CAF Champions League qualifiers.
