Intelvision Team Of The Season | Premier League | 2023/24

Finally, we have chosen the Intelvision Team of the Season! It’s been a long process, but hopefully everyone enjoyed it. The feedback from the football community has been very positive.

The Intelvision Goalkeeper of the Season, as chosen by your votes, is Liam Esther from Northern Dynamo FC. Liam made some crucial saves in the final rounds of the Premier League, and his great performance during that period helped Dynamo stay in the 1st division next season.

The wing-backs in the Intelvision Team of the Season are Makhan Bristol-Cissoko (Foresters) and Gervais Waye-Hive (St. Louis). Both players had some assists and goals that brought important points for their clubs. We had the chance to watch them both in the starting lineup against The Gambia in the World Cup qualifications last week.

The centre-backs in the Intelvision Team of the Season are Justin Riaze (St. Louis) and Don Fanchette (La Passe). Riaze won 40% of the votes in the first round, which says a lot about his great season. Don Fanchette was one of the most outstanding players for La Passe this season. While some other players in the team had ups and downs, Don was always at the top of his game.

The central midfielders in the Intelvision Team of the Season are Anil Dijoux (Northern Dynamo) and Dean Mothe (St. Louis). Anil Dijoux was growing from round to round and entered the transfer window as a national team player (he started against Burundi in the World Cup qualifications) and is one of the most wanted players in Seychelles football at the moment. We’ll see if he decides to move from Dynamo – our voting poll showed that our football community wants him in Foresters or Dynamo next season. The other central midfielder in the Team of the Season is Dean Mothe (St. Louis). Dean Mothe was even awarded the Footballer of the Year award by the SFF this weekend. He was one of the most important players for his club this season.

The wingers in the Intelvision Team of the Season are Brandon Labrosse (Foresters) and Ryan Henriette (Foresters). The winger position is probably the toughest position in Seychelles football to be chosen for the Team of the Season, as we know how many quality players we have. For many people, this duo is the main part of Foresters, and the management team should not let them leave at any cost. Hopefully, in the future, we will have much more data from local football available so we can clearly know how many goals/assists per 90 minutes this duo brings to the team.

The strikers in the Intelvision Team of the Season are Renick Esther (Lightstars) and Neil Confiance (St. Michel). Renick Esther deserved his spot as he finished the season as the Top Scorer. His goals almost made Lightstars the champions, as 4 rounds before the end, they looked unstoppable. Neil Confiance was growing from round to round, just like Anil Dijoux. St. Michel had a shaky season, but we believe Neil Confiance will score even more goals than 10 (this season he scored 10 goals for St. Michel in the Premier League) next season.

Coach Gavin Jeanne (St. Louis) is the Coach of the Intelvision Team of the Season. His last two seasons have been tremendous, with the previous one being superb. His team achieved incredible stats this season, deserving all the awards he received.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our voting polls! We will share some information about how many people were involved in the voting polls, how many votes we received in total, and who won the most votes.

See you soon! It’s not over yet!
