The Seychelles Premier League’s Intelvision Player of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign has been narrowed down to four nominees: Renick Esther (Lightstars FC), Clarck Rakoto (St. Louis), Ryan Henriette (Foresters FC), and Brandon Labrosse (Foresters FC).
Renick Esther, the league’s top scorer, has been instrumental in Lightstars’ surprise title challenge, netting 15 goals. His clinical finishing and overall influence have earned him a spot in the Intelvision Team of the Season.
Clarck Rakoto’s signing for St. Louis was hailed as a major coup, and the talented midfielder has more than lived up to the hype. His superb performances have been a driving force behind St. Louis’ success this season.
Ryan Henriette’s pace and vision catalysed countless counter-attacks for Foresters this season. While his teammates couldn’t always convert, his 15+ potential assists showcased his quality. Henriette’s recent World Cup qualifying goal for Seychelles further cemented his status as a rising star.
Brandon Labrosse, the dynamic Foresters FC winger, has continued to terrorise opposing defenses with his pace, trickery, and goal-scoring ability. His impressive displays at the domestic level have also translated to the international stage, with the 25-year-old impressing for the Seychelles national team at the recent COSAFA Cup.
Narrowing the field to just 4 nominees was a challenging task, but these individuals have truly shone.
