An amazing comeback win from Mavericks and an impressive performance from the opposition. Both teams gave it their all and progression is evident from both sides as we move deeper into the season. The new acquisitions of players from the opposition really made an impact and our newly refined squad stated their dominance in the end. We applaud the resistance and we applaud the 3 points gathered as we keep aiming to do our best in all challenges.

This comeback win propels Mavericks FC, who now sit just three points behind second-placed Beau Vallon in the Seychelles League 1 table. It is worth noting that Mavericks have played one game less than their rivals, offering them an opportunity to climb further up the standings.

A surprising decision was made to include Michael Payet in the starting lineup for Mavericks FC. While his presence on the field may generate anticipation and excitement, it remains to be seen if he can truly fulfill his potential in the third division.
