Despite being down to 10 men following Jonah Freedom Randriamisaina’s red card in the 12th minute, Cote d’Or FC managed to regain the lead with another goal from Ramaroson in the 38th minute. The first half ended with Cote d’Or FC holding a 2-1 advantage.
The second half saw a determined Saint Louis FC side fight back. Tahiry Andriamandimby leveled the scoreline in the 52nd minute, injecting new life into the game. Gervais Waye-Hive then sealed the victory for Saint Louis FC with a goal in the 60th minute.
Cote d’Or FC will be disappointed with the result, having held the lead on two occasions during the match. However, their inability to maintain their advantage ultimately proved costly.
Saint Louis FC’s relentless spirit and attacking power were on full display, exemplified by the standout performance of Charles Rakoto. The club rightfully awarded him the Man of the Match accolade, and he remains a strong contender for the coveted title of “Seysoccer Player of the Round.”
